In line with the University of the Philippines’ Centennial Celebration, the U.P. Tau Rho Xi Fraternity Alumni Association, Inc. and the Eagle Golf Club of Guam, USA will be holding a golf tournament at the Riviera Golf and Country Club in Silang, Cavite on February 6, 2008 to raise funds for the CHRIS MONTES SCHOLARSHIP Fund.

The U.P. Tau Rho Xi Fraternity, the host of this event, has been serving the University of the Philippines since 1962. The tournament aims to raise funds to sustain the Chris Montes Scholarship which currently supports the studies of financially limited but deserving scholars at the university. The scholarship provides for the tuition fees, books and allowances. We hope to have more scholars in the coming school year.

Tournament participants are alumni and friends of the University of the Philippines who are leaders in their respective fields, leading professionals and entrepreneurs from various fields.
