At long last...and I need help with the captions. You need to have a Flash player in order to view the gallery (if you don't see it then you need to download the player from here).

It's time to bring out those old (and new) photos and submit them to me for upload.

We are now running on Joomla! (I'm not that excited, "Joomla!" comes with an exclamation point). I have replaced the previous Mambo CMS with the new one in anticipation of future trends. Seems like the other components we need (and would be needing) would be following the Joomla! fork rather than Mambo. So that's that.

The members area is now fully functional. We now have a forum, an online directory, and a profile page for each member where they could upload their latest photo, among other things. An early favorite seems to be the AJAX shoutbox where online members could 'shout' at each other. A chat utility really that is constantly visible as the members go to the different sections of the site.

The public area now offers a more rounded reading list through the News Feeds section. Just get a cup of coffee and read through your daily picks. We also have a calendar, but you have to be logged in in order to post or edit events. I will be working on integrating the photo gallery soon so stay tuned. The ads at the left and right panels 'pays' for our hosting service.
